Mountain bikes, sunburns and petroglyphs

Spent two days in Fruita. As always it was wonderful. Got about 30 miles in on Tuesday at The Book Cliffs.

Had a cool camp neighbor with whom I spent the evening with around a campfire drinking beer, him doing bowl hits and talking about life.

Wednesday hit Rabbit Valley for the first time and did a loop on part of the legendary Kokopelli trail. Then went hiking down a draw, looking at petroglyphs and hiking several miles with a nurse wearing a bikini.

All in all a great trip. Sunburn is now itchy and that nether region where you sit on your saddle is still very sore.

Petroglyphs

Canyon walls after the trail was either lost or ended. Followed game trails for a bit.
